Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th the 28th of April, 1967. She is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her acting career as a teenager. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as playing the character of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three siblings. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and was known to sneak away from her house to sing. After studying acting at the Wooster School at 13 years old, she studied drama in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts located at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. She also studied in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under renowned Uta Hagen. She was born April 28 on the 28th of April in Brookfield Connecticut. She was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut on April 28, 1967. Kari has 3 siblings. As a teenager was a nightclub singer, she would sing and then slipped away for performances. Kari began acting at the Wooster school aged 13 and then went into drama school at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari was first introduced to acting at 13, and she got her first big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
