Kelly Clarkson has been a musician and singer in the United States for more than 20 years. She was crowned American Idol during the first season. This win did more than propel her to stardom however, it also secured her a multi-album record deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings and S Records. In the years since, she's recorded numerous studio albums. Three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely fell short of the top spot. Her name is among the most popular performers on American Idol. To be successful she played around with various music styles and experimented on subjects. As a result of her distinctiveness and talent as a performer her work was recognized by the media and received a number of prestigious awards. The Grammy Award is her most prestigious recognition. In addition, she has appeared on movies and on television. She is also the writer of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organisations.
